Course Outline

There are three Diploma awards offered by the Timothy Partnership. These awards are the Diploma of Theology, the Diploma of Ministry and the double award of Diploma of Theology and Diploma of Ministry

These awards are Higher Education Diploma programs of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). The Diplomas provide an introduction to Christian theology and aim to equip you with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills appropriate to Christian ministry. Successful completion of Diploma units at Credit level can be easily transferred to a Pass in Degree units at other ACT Colleges across Australia. Each unit of study in the Diploma is worth 4 credit points. A full-time load is 4 units per semester; To be eligible to access Centrelink benefits, a student needs to study a minimum 75% load, which equates to 3 full units (12 credit points) per semester.

(Note: PC249 is not a full unit, and only contributes 1 credit point, or 1/4 of a unit per semester)

    Diploma of Theology

    This is the primary award offered by the timothy Partnership. It consists of 12 semester-long units.

    To receive a Diploma of Theology from the Timothy Partnership, students will complete:

      Diploma of Ministry

      This award provides more space for ministry and practice electives. It consists of 12 semester-long units.

      To receive the Diploma of Ministry from the Timothy Partnership, students will complete:

        Combined Diplomas of Theology and Ministry

        This award combines the best of both awards and allows students to take more ministry and practice electives and receive two Diplomas for only 4 units more work. It consists of 16 semester-long units.

        To receive the Diplomas of Theology and Ministry from the Timothy Partnership, students will complete:
